Renowned boxer Floyd Mayweather has extended a helping hand to NBA YoungBoy, who is currently under house arrest awaiting his federal gun trial this summer. Mayweather shared a video on Saturday (January 27) on his Instagram, showcasing himself next to two briefcases filled with cash and expressing his intention to support the troubled rapper.
In the video, Mayweather flaunted his wealth and possessions before addressing NBA YoungBoy directly. “And the bag — it’s crazy,” Mayweather stated. “NBA YoungBoy, see all this? It’s on its way to you. Let’s go.”
NBA YoungBoy shares a child with Mayweather’s daughter, Yaya Mayweather, establishing a familial connection between the two. Mayweather has previously shown admiration for the rapper’s talent, acknowledging him as one of the biggest artists in the music industry with a devoted fanbase.
Expressing paternal pride, Mayweather praised NBA YoungBoy in a 2022 episode of The Pivot Podcast, stating, “I’m proud of NBA YoungBoy — a very, very talented young kid. He’s got a cult-like following. I look at him just like one of my sons. I only want the best for him.”
Mayweather emphasized the need for NBA YoungBoy to resolve any conflicts he might have, urging him to enjoy the rewards of his hard work. “I don’t want him to have beef with anyone.
