‘Stop Checking Your Partner’s Phone’ – Yhemolee Tells couples
Popular media personality Idowu Adeyemi, widely known as Yhemolee, has cautioned couples against the habit of checking their partners’ phones, warning of the potential emotional and psychological harm it can cause.
Yhemolee, who recently married his longtime girlfriend Thayour B, shared his thoughts in a video posted to his Instagram account. He advised that searching through a partner’s phone in an attempt to catch them cheating is a dangerous practice that could lead to severe distress or worse.
Recalling a recent incident, he explained, “A friend of mine called this morning and told me his fiancée was in the hospital struggling to breathe. I asked if she had any terminal illness, but he said no. She had checked his phone overnight.”
Yhemolee emphasized the emotional toll that snooping through a partner’s private messages can have, saying, “If you die because of what you see, the person who caused you that pain will move on. My friend even said if his fiancée saw everything on his phone, she might not survive the trauma, and even if she does, it could haunt her for life.”
He urged couples to resist the temptation of looking through each other’s devices, warning that the potential discoveries could lead to long-lasting damage.
