Ludacris Joins Usher for Surprise ‘Yeah!’ Performance at Las Vegas Residency

In a star-studded surprise, Ludacris joined his longtime friend and collaborator, Usher, during Usher’s Las Vegas residency over the weekend, thrilling the audience with a live rendition of their iconic 2004 hit, “Yeah!”

Ludacris made a surprise appearance at the Las Vegas show on Sunday (November 5), igniting the crowd with a spirited performance of their chart-topping track. Following the electrifying collaboration, Ludacris took to Instagram to express his appreciation and affection for Usher, referring to the R&B superstar as his “brother for life.”

Sharing a clip from the performance, Ludacris wrote, “When Atlanta TAKES OVER VEGAS. Thanks For Having Me @usher 🙏 My Brother Fo LIFE!”

Usher’s residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM has attracted a multitude of celebrity guests, including notable figures such as Dr. Dre, Doja Cat, Summer Walker, Jessica Alba, and Jennifer Lopez. Notably, rap icon Nas joined Usher on stage on October 20, delivering a captivating performance of several tracks, including “You Owe Me” and “If I Ruled the World (Imagine That).”

Scheduled to continue until December 2, Usher’s residency has seen a string of high-profile appearances, with celebrities like Ashanti, Tiffany Haddish, Keke Palmer, and Saweetie gracing the audience with their presence.

Following the conclusion of his Vegas residency, Usher is poised for an even greater performance—taking the spotlight at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. The announcement, made by the NFL and Apple Music, revealed the R&B icon’s excitement for this career-defining moment.

Expressing his anticipation, Usher shared, “It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before.”

Jay-Z, who is involved in producing the halftime show as the NFL’s live music entertainment strategist, commended Usher’s artistry and unparalleled stage presence. He noted, “Usher is the ultimate artist and showman. Beyond his flawless singing and exceptional choreography, Usher bares his soul. His remarkable journey has propelled him to one of the grandest stages in the world. I can’t wait to see the magic.” The eagerly anticipated performance is set to take place on February 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Vegas.
