50 Cent and Diddy

50 Cent Taunts Diddy Amid Sex Trafficking Case, Jokes About Death Penalty

50 Cent has once again taken aim at longtime rival Sean “Diddy” Combs, mocking the embattled music mogul on social media amid ongoing sex trafficking allegations.

In a recent Instagram post, 50 Cent joked that Diddy “might get the chair” after singer Cassie, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, testified that her former manager, James Cruz, had limited power because all major decisions were ultimately made by Diddy.

Reacting to this, 50 shared a screenshot referencing Cassie’s claim that Cruz “was managing her with one hand tied behind his back,” adding the caption: “Diddy might get the chair after Cruz hit the stand!”

Though capital punishment is not on the table in Diddy’s case, the comment reflects 50’s continued use of dark humor to criticize the hip-hop mogul, who is currently under federal investigation over serious allegations including sex trafficking and abuse.

50 Cent has long denied any professional connection to Cruz, despite Cruz previously claiming he managed him. The G-Unit founder has also made inflammatory accusations in the past, including unverified claims about Cruz’s drug use and personal relationships. In a 2022 post, 50 alleged, without evidence, that Cruz had a history of cocaine use and made crude comments about Cruz’s association with Diddy.

It remains unclear whether Cruz will be called to testify in the ongoing investigation involving Diddy.

50 Cent has been a vocal critic of Diddy since the investigation became public, using his platforms to highlight and mock developments in the case. Earlier, he reacted to shocking courtroom allegations, including testimony from a male escort who claimed he was once asked to urinate on Cassie. The prosecution alleges that Diddy coerced such acts during their relationship, which ended in 2018.

Referencing that testimony, 50 posted an image of a fountain with water spraying from a statue’s groin, captioned: “Diddy said in ya mouth! SMH LOL.”

Diddy has denied all allegations made against him. The federal investigation is ongoing.
