Nike Unveils Shox Z “Year of the Horse” Ahead of Spring 2026
Nike has begun rolling out its Chinese New Year lineup, and alongside familiar silhouettes like the Air Force 1 and Kobe 8, the Nike Shox Z is stepping into the spotlight with a special “Year of the Horse” edition.
The model reflects Nike’s ongoing push to reposition the Shox line within fashion-forward, low-profile women’s footwear. As the Shox Z continues to gain traction, this seasonal release adds cultural storytelling to its growing appeal.

Design-wise, the sneaker leans heavily on contrast. Textured, ruffled overlays sit atop a synthetic base, while pearl-like detailing is layered across the upper to add depth. A metallic silver Swoosh cuts through the design, offering a sharp visual accent. Inside the shoe, a dedicated “2026 Year of the Horse” insignia on the insoles clearly ties the pair to the Lunar New Year celebration.
The Nike Shox Z “Year of the Horse” is expected to launch in women’s sizing as part of Nike’s Spring 2026 collection. While the brand has yet to announce an official release date, first-look images of the sneaker have already surfaced.
