Burna Boy Sets Record With $1 Million Concert In Oceania
Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy has made history after becoming the first African artiste to generate more than $1 million from a single concert in Oceania.
The milestone was achieved during the Sydney stop of his No Sign Of Weakness tour, which took place on October 18, 2025, at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. The concert reportedly grossed $1.117 million, setting a new record for an African performer in the region.
Data from global tour monitoring platform Touring Data also showed that the No Sign Of Weakness tour has become the highest-grossing tour by an African artist in Oceania’s history.
According to the platform, the Australian leg of the tour generated about $3.1 million in total revenue from more than 31,000 tickets sold across four shows.
A breakdown of the figures revealed that 30,946 tickets were sold for the four performances, with an average ticket price of $100.94. Each show recorded an average revenue of approximately $772,791.
The No Sign Of Weakness tour spanned 20 shows across three continents – North America, Europe and Oceania – attracting large audiences and further strengthening Burna Boy’s global reputation.
With the Sydney performance surpassing the $1 million mark, the Nigerian superstar has now become the first African artist to gross over $1 million from a single concert across three different continents.
