Zinoleesky Exits Marlian Music, Launches Own Record Label
Nigerian singer Zinoleesky has officially parted ways with Marlian Music, marking the end of his seven-year stint with the label.
The artist confirmed his departure on April 23, 2026, signaling the beginning of an independent phase in his career. His exit comes amid reports of a rift with label boss Naira Marley, although details surrounding the alleged disagreement remain unclear.
Shortly after leaving the label, Zinoleesky unveiled his new imprint, Zinodict Music, alongside the release of his first independent single titled Nostalgia. He also updated his social media profiles to reflect the new label.
The move follows months of speculation about tensions between the singer and Marlian Music, which first gained traction in November 2025. At the time, Zinoleesky had dismissed the rumours and reiterated his loyalty to the label.
His departure now marks a significant shift in his career, as he joins a growing list of artists opting for independence in Nigeria’s evolving music industry.
