Infinix Unveils NOTE 60 Ultra As Flagship Push Into Premium Segment

Infinix has introduced its latest flagship smartphone, the Infinix NOTE 60 Ultra, marking a significant move into the premium device category.

The device was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona and represents the company’s most ambitious attempt yet to compete in the high-end smartphone market.

Developed in collaboration with Italian design house Pininfarina, the NOTE 60 Ultra features a design inspired by high-performance sports cars. The smartphone adopts an aluminium unibody structure with a seamless rear finish, eliminating the traditional camera bump for a more streamlined appearance.

On the hardware front, the device is equipped with a 200-megapixel primary camera system, supported by additional lenses designed to enhance zoom and ultra-wide photography. It also introduces satellite communication capabilities, allowing users to make calls and send messages in areas without traditional network coverage.

Performance features include a 7000mAh battery with fast-charging support, alongside a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset aimed at improving speed and multitasking efficiency. The phone also integrates audio technology tuned by JBL, as well as AI-driven features designed to enhance everyday user experience.

The NOTE 60 Ultra offers a high-resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness designed for varied lighting conditions. It also includes proprietary battery optimisation technology intended to extend long-term battery health.

According to Infinix, the device will be available in multiple colour options and storage variants, with support for extended software updates and security patches.

The launch underscores the company’s strategy to reposition itself within the global smartphone market by combining design, performance, and advanced features typically associated with flagship devices.
