adidas Revives The “Island Series” With The Trinidad & Tobago
adidas Originals is bringing back a standout from its “Island Series” for Summer 2025. The adidas Trinidad & Tobago sneaker, last released in 2015, returns in the same striking orange and black colorway.
The “Island Series” is a unique offshoot of adidas’ well-known “City Series,” inspired by islands rather than major cities. Originally launched in the 1970s and 80s, the series was revived with a six-pair lineup in 2015. Today, only the adidas Bermuda and adidas Samoa see somewhat regular releases, while others like the adidas Cancun, Jamaica, and Hawaii remain rare.
Recently shared images by retailer Size? show the Trinidad & Tobago model maintaining its original 2015 design, but with a fresh tongue tag featuring gold branding. The shoe resembles the adidas Tobacco with its all-suede upper, slim gum sole, and serrated detailing on the stripes and eyelets.
