Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 “Bred” Set for Holiday 2025 Comeback

Sneaker fans have reason to celebrate as Jordan Brand prepares to re-release the legendary Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 “Bred” during the 2025 holiday season.

The confirmation follows earlier reports that the iconic black-and-red sneakers would return before year’s end – marking a second release after their limited February 2025 drop, which saw only 10,000 pairs made available exclusively through select 23 NBHD retailers.

The February launch sparked a frenzy among collectors, with pairs selling out instantly and resale prices soaring. Rumors of a second release began circulating soon after, fueled by a new product code that initially led some to speculate about a possible redesign.

However, newly surfaced official images confirm that the Holiday 2025 version will stay true to the original design. The sneakers feature the same OG-style hang tag, classic color blocking, and will come with three sets of laces.

While Jordan Brand has yet to announce an exact release date, sneaker insiders note the symbolic link to October 18 – the date the NBA famously banned Michael Jordan’s original black-and-red sneakers in the 1980s, a moment that helped cement the Air Jordan legacy.

Collectors and fans alike are now gearing up for what’s expected to be another hotly contested drop when the Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 “Bred” makes its long-awaited return later this year.
