Alicia Keys Files Trademark for New Tea Brand Inspired by Swizz Beatz

Grammy-winning artist Alicia Keys is venturing into the world of tea with her new brand, ‘Alicia Teas.’ The songstress and entrepreneur recently filed a trademark for the tea brand, signalling her intention to enter the beverage industry.

Alicia Keys’ company, Alicia Worldwide, submitted the trademark application for ‘Alicia Teas,’ setting the stage for the launch of her unique tea line in the near future. The move demonstrates Keys’ desire to make her mark in the world of beverages.

Inspiration for the tea brand reportedly came from a thoughtful gift given to Alicia Keys by her husband, acclaimed music producer Swizz Beatz. In 2020, Swizz Beatz presented his wife with her own brand of tea bags as a birthday gift. At the time, he expressed his belief that the brand would eventually find its way into Starbucks locations worldwide.

Swizz Beatz gifted the line of teas to Keys during an after-party for the Grammy Awards, which she hosted in 2020. He shared his excitement for the venture, stating, “Happy birthday, we got an endless amount of teas, and everybody in Starbucks around the world, you’re gonna see Alicia Teas. Blessings, happy birthday, baby. Love you!”

While details about where Alicia Teas will be available and their pricing remain unclear, the venture is undoubtedly an exciting new endeavour for Alicia Keys. In a recent show of appreciation, Keys reciprocated the gesture by treating Swizz Beatz to a birthday trip to France to celebrate his 45th birthday. The couple was joined by friends like Pharrell for a lavish celebration in the picturesque Cognac region of France, hosted by Hennessy.
