Angelina Jolie and Her Latest Attempt to Destroy Brad Pitt’s Reputation
Angelina Jolie is anything but happy with Brad Pitt’s claims that she violated their agreement, after the famous actor filed a lawsuit over the sale of her stake in their co-owned vineyard.
As reported by MARCA, the former couple bought back in 2008 a controlling interest in Chateau Miraval SA, a French company comprising of a home and vineyard in the south of France.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Jolie’s legal team indicate that Pitt’s allegations are “frivolous, malicious, and part of a problematic pattern”.
“Pitt’s allegations that he and Ms. Jolie had a secret, unwritten, unspoken contract to a consent right on the sale of their interests in the property is directly contrary to the written record and, among other legal defects, violative of the Statute of Frauds and public policy,” read the court documents.

Meanwhile, TikTok user @magshrts recently shared an email in which Jolie explained her decision to sell her share of the winery.
“It is the place we brought the twins home to, and where we were married over a plaque in my mother’s memory,” Jolie said.
“A place that held the promise of what could be and where I thought I would grow old.
“It is also the place that marks the beginning of the end of our family – and a business that is centered around alcohol.”
The comment about alcohol is key, as one of Jolie’s other reasons was her concern with the way the products were advertised.
“I find it irresponsible and not something that I would want the children to see,’ she said of the promotion of alcohol.
“It reminded me of painful times.
