Angelina Jolie Wants to Know Why the FBI Didn’t Arrest Brad Pitt
An n unexpected report has confirmed that Hollywood star, Brad Pitt came close to getting arrested by the FBI over a 2016 airplane domestic violence incident that led to his divorce with Angelina Jolie, as reported by Marca.
During the incident, it was alleged that Brad Pitt was drunk and became overly abusive towards the actress inside their private jey.
Any incident that takes place inside United States air space is considered to be under the government’s jurisdiction, which means the FBI had to investigate.
However, the ‘Bullet Train’ star was cleared after a short-lived investigation, according to The Guardian back in 2016. The incident occurred on September 14 while the Los Angeles County Department cleared him of any wrong doing.
Angelina Jolie, however, went ahead to file for a divorce five days after the incident.
Angelina Jolie was rumored to pose as a ‘Jane Doe’ while presenting a lawsuit against the FBI, the court presented her as a person of status and the complaint detailed what really wen’t down on board of that plane. According to Puck News’ Eriq Gardner, Brad Pitt was almost arrested by the FBi over the incident.
He confirmed that Jolie was the plaintiff in the FBI suit. The report confirms that the agent in charge of the investigation presented a probable cause for arrest to an assistant U.S. Attorney but they decided not to pursue the charges. Inside the report were also details of what happened during the flight.
According to the plaintiff (Jolie), Brad Pitt was drinking and took her to the back of the plane. He allegedly grabbed her shoulders and shook her while yelling things like: “You are fucking up this family.” In the same flight, Jolie allegedly sustained injuries and presented the agent with photos of her injured elbow as an attempt to corroborate her claims with evidence.
Pitt also allegedly poured beer on Jolie during this incident. So far, Brad Pitt has denied any of this ever happened while Jolie is still asking for en explanation to why he wasn’t arrested for what he supposedly did.
