Rapper Rollie Bands Shot Dead at Home After Daring on Critics to Confront Him
In a tragic turn of events, a Florida rapper, Rollie Bands has been shot dead outside of his home in the Tampa after daring critics to come and confront him to his face.
The rapper, who was evidently frustrated with criticism, took to Instagram on Friday to challenge anybody and everybody who had been speaking ill of him.
“A lot of these n****s know where I live at fr,” the rapper posted on his Instagram story, as reported by HipHopDZ.
“I sleep in peace. If a n***a want smoke I’m at my crib in 5 mins.”
As the New York Post reported, Rollie Bands was shot just 5 minutes later, at around 15:30 local time, in the car park of his apartment complex.
From there, he was rushed to hospital but nothing could be done to save his life.
According to sources, it is believed that there are multiple suspects involved in the murder as they fled the scene in a vehicle and remain at large.
“At this time, the shooting does not appear random, as the suspects and victim are possibly known to each other,” said the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in their report.
Police have asked anyone with any information to contact them on (813) 247-8200 or make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at 1-800-873-8477 with any information.
