Angus Cloud’s Mother Says the ‘Euphoria’ Star ‘Did Not Intend to End His Life’

Angus Cloud, the talented star of the hit series “Euphoria,” tragically passed away on Monday at the young age of 25. While the cause of his death remains unknown, his mother, Lisa Cloud, has come forward to share more details about his final day and assert that her son “did not intend to end his life.”

In a heartfelt social media post on Friday, Lisa expressed her gratitude for the love and support her family has received during this devastating time. She shed light on Angus’s last moments, revealing that despite his deep grief over his father’s untimely death from mesothelioma, his final day was filled with joy and plans for the future.

“Friends, I want you all to know I appreciate your love for my family at this shattered time,” Lisa Cloud, the late actor’s mother, wrote in a social media post on Friday. “I also want you to know that although my son was in deep grief about his father’s untimely death from mesothelioma, his last day was a joyful one. He was reorganizing his room and placing items around the house with the intent to stay a while in the home he loved. He spoke of his intent to help provide for his sisters at college, and also help his mom emotionally and financially.”

Emergency responders from the Oakland Fire Department were called to the Cloud family’s California home, but unfortunately, Angus was already deceased when they arrived. The Alameda County Coroner is yet to determine the exact cause of his passing.

Lisa Cloud firmly stated that her son did not intend to take his own life. Their last interaction was filled with expressions of love, with Angus assuring her that he would see her in the morning. The tragic incident appears to have been an accidental overdose, though the details are yet to be confirmed.

Angus Cloud’s struggles were real, and his mother acknowledged the challenges he faced. She mentioned a brain injury he had endured as a teenager, which he miraculously survived. In the years that followed, he channelled his life into creativity and love, leaving a profound impact on his generation through his work on “Euphoria.”

Lisa called for honouring Angus’s memory by spreading random acts of kindness and incorporating compassion, loyalty, acceptance, and love into daily life. She refuted the notion that his death was intentional and urged others to celebrate his life by fostering a caring and empathetic community.

“His head injury 10 years ago miraculously didn’t result in death as it almost always does. He was given 10 bonus years and filled them with creativity and love,” she wrote.

“Social media posts have suggested his death was intentional. I want you to know that is not the case,” her post concluded. “To honour his memory, please make random acts of kindness part of your daily life. Bless your hearts.”

The entertainment industry and Angus Cloud’s fans mourn the loss of a young talent who touched countless hearts with his portrayal of Fezco on “Euphoria.” His legacy as a compassionate and creative soul will continue to inspire and resonate with many for years to come.
