Anne Hathaway Humble as a “Guest” in Fashion World

Anne Hathaway, the acclaimed actress, humbly sees herself as a “guest” rather than a “fashion person” in the dynamic world of fashion, emphasizing her respect for those deeply entrenched in the industry.

Despite her frequent appearances at runway shows and her keen interest in clothing, the 41-year-old star believes it would be inappropriate to claim a title reserved for those with formal education and extensive experience in fashion.

In an interview with V magazine, she expressed her viewpoint, stating, “I think it’d be an insult to someone whose education revolved around it, whose life revolves around it, who has done a full fashion cycle in multiple cities as opposed to just, like, getting invited to a show and an after-party.”

Hathaway acknowledges her limited involvement in fashion compared to professionals who dedicate their lives to the craft, describing herself as an actress first and foremost.

While she may not consider herself a “fashion person,” she recently expressed her excitement at being part of Versace’s ‘Icons’ campaign, alongside actor Cillian Murphy. Reflecting on her experience, she praised the empowering qualities of Versace women, aligning with the brand’s values and ethos.

Despite her humility, Hathaway’s presence in the fashion world continues to captivate, showcasing her admiration and respect for an industry she navigates with grace and appreciation.
