Dutch billionaire Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken, the largest shareholder in Heineken, has made history as the world’s richest person, with an estimated net worth of $11.04 trillion as of March 5, according to Forbes.

How She Built Her Fortune

De Carvalho-Heineken controls nearly 24% of Heineken, a stake she inherited in 2002 following the death of her father, Freddy Heineken, who was the company’s longtime CEO. She and her family remain heavily involved in the business, with her husband, Michel, and children, Charles, Alexander, and Louisa Brassey, all serving on Heineken’s board.

Rossmann built his fortune through his drugstore chain business, which he founded at age 25 and now generates around $13 billion in annual revenue. He has also made major private equity investments and holds a stake in Bundesliga soccer club Hannover 96.

Elon Musk Drops to Third, Dangote Loses Ground
