Childish Gambino Unveils Kanye West & Kid Cudi Collaborations Ahead of Final Albums

Childish Gambino is ramping up anticipation for his musical return with the debut of collaborations featuring Kanye West and Kid Cudi, stirring excitement among fans.

During the second episode of his GILGA Radio show streamed on Instagram Live on Sunday night, Gambino treated listeners to unreleased tracks while shedding more light on his upcoming projects.

The untitled song with Kanye showcases the duo trading verses over a futuristic beat, with West referencing JAY-Z, his hit “New God Flow,” and hinting at a potential Watch the Throne sequel. Gambino, on the other hand, delves into recent NBA events, rapping about Draymond Green’s incident with Rudy Gobert.

Another track, reportedly titled “Warlords,” features Kid Cudi and had previously leaked in 2021. Its premiere follows recent social media interactions where Cudi appeared dismissive of collaborating with Gambino. However, Gambino addressed this on his previous livestream, emphasizing a desire for constructive dialogue rather than discord.

The streams also served as platforms for Gambino to unveil plans for two upcoming albums. “Atavista,” an updated version of his 2020 project “3.15.20,” features alternate titles and a new guest artist, Young Nudy. The second album, “Bando Stone & the New World,” will serve as a soundtrack for an accompanying film and marks Gambino’s farewell under the moniker.

While specifics about the release dates and tracklists remain undisclosed, Gambino hinted at the potential inclusion of the Kanye West and Kid Cudi collaborations.

In addition to the musical revelations, Gambino announced plans for a tour later this year. While details are sparse, his Instagram bio directs fans to a website for “The New World Tour,” where they can sign up for updates on the upcoming tour.
