Jennifer Lopez Teases Sean Paul-Sampling Single Ahead of Highly Anticipated Album Release

Jennifer Lopez, the multi-talented singer and actor, is gearing up for the launch of her first solo album in almost a decade, and she’s offering a sneak peek with the Sean Paul-sampling single titled “Can’t Get Enough.”

In a 30-second preview, J. Lo gave fans a taste of the upcoming single, set to be released on January 10. The track samples Sean Paul’s 2003 dancehall hit “I’m Still In Love With You,” which itself draws from Alton Ellis’ 1960s classic, “I’m Still In Love With You Girl.”

Alongside the teaser, Jennifer Lopez unveiled a trailer for her forthcoming album titled “This Is Me…Now,” describing it as a “musical experience.” The album is scheduled to hit the shelves on February 16.

“This Is Me…Now” marks J. Lo’s return to the music scene, released under a new deal with BMG that she signed in September. The album is positioned as a sequel to her 2002 release “This is Me…Then,” which produced hits like “Jenny From The Block” featuring Styles P and Jadakiss, and “All I Have” featuring LL COOL J.

Recorded in 2022 and 2023 at J. Lo’s home, the sequel boasts production from notable names such as Hit-Boy, Ink, Tay Keith, Yeti Beats, Carter Lang, and Kim “Kaydence” Krysiuk.

BMG’s CEO Thomas Coesfeld expressed excitement about the collaboration with Jennifer Lopez, stating, “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with her and her team to release her first album in nearly a decade.” Coesfeld added, “We are both excited and proud to partner with Jennifer Lopez on this long-awaited sequel to This is Me…Then.”

While this album marks a significant return to the music scene for Jennifer Lopez, she has sporadically released music over the years. However, her recent focus has been on acting, particularly highlighted by the success of her 2019 film, “Hustlers,” which earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

J. Lo expressed her pride in the recognition for her acting work through an Instagram post in December 2019, stating, “Ramona was a complicated character, and it was an honor and challenge to bring her to life.” The post celebrated the collaborative effort of “Hustlers,” emphasizing the film as a “labor of love, sweat, and perseverance” created by a group of “bad-ass women.”
