Chioma and I are Taking Break from Having Kids – Davido
Nigerian music star Davido has revealed that he and his wife, Chioma Rowland, are putting a pause on expanding their family.
Speaking in a recent episode of Ride Along With Darryl, the Afrobeats singer explained that the decision was made so Chioma can focus on her personal goals after welcoming three children.
“I don’t want more children now. Me and my wife are taking a break,” Davido shared. “She needs to get out to work. She wants to do a lot of things like opening her restaurant and launching her spices. I feel she deserves a couple of years off after having three kids.”
The couple welcomed twins – a boy and a girl – in 2023, marking a joyful moment after the tragic loss of their first son, Ifeanyi, who died in a swimming pool accident the previous year.
Davido, known for hits like Fall and Unavailable, has five children in total. The singer’s comments have since sparked supportive reactions from fans praising his decision to prioritize Chioma’s ambitions and well-being.
