Chris Brown Reacts To Winning 2022 Headies Award
American celebrated singer, songwriter and performer, Chris Brown has reacted to his latest win at the 2022 Headies awards.
The prestigious musica award, which dominantly celebrates excellence in the Nigerian music industry and beyond, held its 15th edition on Sunday, September 4th, 2022, at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
Breezy, who has worked with a sizeable number of Afrobeats acts such as Wizkid, Davido, Ayo Jay, Rema & Lojay, was nominated in the “International Artiste Of The Year” category, a new voting award category for a non-African artiste or group with the most outstanding achievement and impact on Afrobeats.
Chris Brown was nominated alongside international stars like Beyonce, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber and Nas and was declared the winner on Sunday night.
After the win, the singer took to his Instagram page on Monday, September 5th 2022, to appreciate the headies for the recognition.
