Dame Helen Mirren Was Convinced to Join Instagram by Vin Diesel
Dame Helen Mirren has revealed that she was first introduced to Instagram by the actor Vin Diesel. Despite joining the photo-sharing platform in December 2016 and amassing over a million followers, the award-winning actress has admitted that she is not very good at it.
She jokingly added that she wants to “age disgracefully” and describes her life as a “non-stop adventure.” Helen is also an advocate for encouraging women to find their own sense of self-worth by looking outward and helping other people.
In addition, the Hollywood star used the COVID-19 lockdown to get as healthy as possible along with her husband, Taylor Hackford. Helen shared that they both adopted their own exercise programs, with her doing yoga and her husband doing pilates, and used the opportunity to reset.
