Did Amber Heard Have High Expectations From Elon Musk?
It would appear that American business tycoon and billionaire, Elon Musk let celebrity actress, Amber Heard down by choosing to stay away from her legal trail against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.
It should be recalled that Elon Musk opted not to interfere in the defamation trial against Heard and was apparently reluctant to get involved in the trial.
Despite the controversy that mired the trail, Musk retained a neutral stand and when he eventually issued a statement, this was what he had to say,
“I hope they both move on. At their best, they are each incredible.”
Musk and Heard are believed to have dated fr a while between 2016 and 2018 and the former had been named on her witness list for the trial.
During opening statements, Heard’s lawyers has accused Depp of being “obsessed” with Musk. At the trial, the former spouses’ agent, Christian Carino had previously testified that the actress was dating Musk around the same time she was trying to reconcile with her husband.
While Heard might have expected Musk to take the stand against Depp, he eventually didn’t say anything against Depp and maintained a rather balanced approach.
Rather than take to the stand to defend Heard with his testimony against Depp, Musk kept has distanced himself from the controversial trial to avoid crossing Depp who appears to be attracting more support and coming out on top in the court of public opinion in the high-profile trial.
