Diddy Gets Pulled Over for Playing His New Album Too Loud

In a recent viral video clip on social media, renowned recording artist Diddy found himself in a roadside encounter with Miami police after playing his latest album at an allegedly excessive volume while en route to pick up DJ Khaled. The incident shed light on the boundaries of influence, even for a superstar, in a city he holds dear to his heart.

In the video, Diddy can be seen engaging with a police officer after being pulled over for the booming volume of his new album, “The Love Album: Off the Grid.” The artist, known for his connection to both New York and Miami, offered a candid reaction to the situation.

As the artist sped away from the encounter, he shared his thoughts with viewers, saying, “They wanna mess with you for having those peanut butter seats. Ya’ll know what it is out here. It doesn’t matter how much money I have; they’re still going to pull me over, and I’m just trying to get to my man.”

Diddy continued, asserting his ties to Miami, saying, “And this is my city. He knows damn well this is my city. You know, I’m the King of New York, LA, and Miami.”

Shortly after the incident, DJ Khaled joined Diddy, and together, they navigated the streets of Miami, accompanied by an enthusiastic crowd of fans.

Diddy’s latest album, “The Love Album: Off the Grid,” which carries an R&B focus, achieved notable success, earning 27,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. for the week ending September 21, according to Luminate. The project also marked Diddy’s return to the top five on Billboard’s Top R&B and Hip-Hop Albums chart for the first time since 2011. The album features collaborations with prominent artists such as French Montana, The Weeknd, 21 Savage, and more.

On the day of the album’s release, Mayor Eric Adams of New York honored Diddy with a key to the city, marking a significant moment for the artist. In an Instagram post, Diddy expressed his joy, exclaiming, “Ayo New York. New York, we did it!” while proudly displaying the key outside his speeding limousine in Times Square.
