DJ Timmy Accuses Timi Dakolo of Owing Debt, Threatens to Reveal Alleged Personal Information
Nigerian disc jockey Kubeyinje Otis Ayodeji, popularly known as Baddest DJ Timmy, has publicly accused singer Timi Dakolo of failing to repay an alleged debt.
In a post shared on Instagram on Friday, DJ Timmy claimed Dakolo had persuaded him about a month ago to remove an earlier post concerning the alleged debt, promising that payment would be made.
According to the DJ, the payment has yet to be received despite the assurance.
He issued the singer a three-day ultimatum, warning that if the money was not paid by Monday, he would disclose what he described as Dakolo’s alleged “sexcapades” and other personal matters.
“If by Monday 20th, the money doesn’t hit our account, get ready to explain your sexcapades to your wife and all your little adventures in Lagos,” he wrote.
DJ Timmy also alleged that it had been exactly one month since Dakolo asked him to archive the earlier post while promising to settle the outstanding payment.
“Today is Friday and Wednesday makes it one month exactly you begged me to archive my post and still Timi Dakolo hasn’t paid us back,” he added.
As of the time of filing this report, Timi Dakolo had not publicly responded to the allegations or the threat.
The social media post has since generated widespread reactions online, with users expressing a mix of amusement, concern and calls for the dispute to be resolved privately.
