Drake Lists Beverly Hills Mansion for Rent at $250K Monthly

Drake is turning to the rental market for his opulent Beverly Hills mansion after unsuccessful attempts to sell the property. Purchased from singer-songwriter Robbie Williams in 2022 for approximately $75 million, the Tuscan-style estate was initially listed for sale in 2023 at $88 million. However, with no buyers stepping forward, the Toronto-born artist has decided to lease the estate for a staggering $250,000 per month, according to updated listings.

Spanning over 20 acres in the prestigious 90210 area code, the 20,000-square-foot mansion boasts 10 bedrooms, 22 bathrooms, an 11-car garage, a wine cellar, an elevator, and even a private orchard. As one of the largest properties in Beverly Hills, the estate offers unparalleled exclusivity and luxury.

While Drake has been spending much of his time in his native Toronto, this move could signal his intention to relinquish ties to the sprawling California property.

Controversy Brewing Over Defamation Lawsuit

In a separate development, Drake is facing criticism for his ongoing legal battle with Universal Music Group (UMG) over Kendrick Lamar’s track “Not Like Us.” The rapper filed a defamation lawsuit against UMG, alleging that the promotion of the song — which he claims contains “threatening” lyrics — incited a 2024 shooting at his Toronto home and multiple trespassing incidents.

Joe Budden, rapper-turned-podcaster, criticized Drake’s actions on his podcast, calling him a “Karen” and accusing him of hypocrisy. Budden referenced past incidents where Drake allegedly encouraged fans to confront him and questioned his tough-guy persona.

“Don’t be that and also Karen out […] I don’t like it. It’s nasty and disgusting,” Budden said, taking aim at what he described as Drake’s identity crisis.

The case has sparked debate within the hip-hop community, with some siding with Drake and others accusing him of overreacting. Budden went as far as to suggest that the lawsuit could harm Drake’s career, saying, “This could be the thing that destroys him.”

As Drake continues to dominate headlines for both his real estate ventures and legal disputes, fans and critics alike are closely watching his next moves.
