The injury was revealed during a livestream for a $1 million Stake giveaway on Sunday (December 17), where the artist candidly shared the unfortunate news while sitting poolside.
Drake, often associated with his love for basketball, did not specify the cause of the ankle injury, but speculation arises from his recent participation in the SBL Christmas Classic 2023, where he posted photos engaging in the sport. The injury prompted the artist to sit out the live stream, opting for a more relaxed setting.
Footage circulating on social media captured Drake being chauffeured around the resort on a golf cart, accompanied by crutches to alleviate pressure on his injured ankle. This incident is not the first time the artist has faced health setbacks.
