The 51-year-old star had been following Luna’s journey on social media for a couple of years, witnessing her heartbreaking health struggles and wanting to create a lasting memory for her.
The heartwarming surprise took place at the Hotel Bel-Air, where The Rock invited Luna and her family for a special meal, all on him. Little did Luna know that the ‘Black Adam’ actor had arranged to personally serve her chicken fingers, fries, and ketchup.
In a video shared on Twitter, The Rock expressed his excitement about the surprise, saying, “She has no idea I’m gonna surprise her. I told her family, ‘Tell Luna that I’m setting up a lunch for you guys at my favourite hotel, I’m sorry I can’t be there.'”
When Luna saw The Rock walking into the restaurant with her plate in hand, she was in awe. After exchanging greetings, The Rock called her up for a hug, telling her, “You know what I need?
