Eedris Abdulkareem Urges Seyi Tinubu to Tell President Tinubu Nigerians Are Suffering
Veteran Nigerian musician Eedris Abdulkareem has called on Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to speak to his father about the ongoing hardships facing Nigerians.
The outspoken artist delivered the message in a newly released song titled Tell Your Papa, which appears to respond directly to Seyi Tinubu’s recent public remarks praising his father’s leadership.
Last month, Seyi Tinubu sparked debate online after he described his father as the greatest president in Nigeria’s history while addressing youths in Adamawa State — a statement that drew mixed reactions across social media and beyond.
In his track, Abdulkareem challenges that assertion, urging Seyi to use his access to the president to relay the struggles of ordinary Nigerians, who continue to face economic challenges and rising inflation.
Known for his history of politically charged music, Abdulkareem has long used his platform to speak on social issues and hold those in power accountable.
Reacting in his new song, Abdulkareem slammed Seyi, stressing that the president’s son was insensitive to the plight of Nigerians who are suffering from economic hardship and insecurity.
“Seyi, tell your papa country hard. Tell your papa people dey die. Tell your papa this one don pass jagajaga,” he sings.
“Seyi, how far? I swear your papa no try. Too much empty promises. On behalf of Nigerians, take our message to him; kidnappers dey kill Nigerians.
“Seyi, try travel by road without your security make you feel the pains of fellow Nigerians. You dey fly private jets, insecurity no be your problem.”
