Eniola Badmus Says She Does Not Know What It Means to Be Broke
Nollywood actress and Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on Social Events and Public Hearings, Eniola Badmus, has stirred reactions after saying she does not know what it means to be broke.
Badmus made the remark while speaking on the red carpet at the premiere of The Return of Omotara Johnson, where she was asked about how she copes during periods of financial difficulty.
Responding to the question, the actress said she could not relate to the experience.
“I do not even know the meaning of being broke,” she said.
Asked what being rich means to her, Badmus described wealth as having the freedom to meet one’s needs and make a positive impact on others.
“To have all the things that you want at your beck and call. When you are comfortable and able to buy whatever you want and also, most importantly, impact on other people’s lives,” she said.
The actress also linked financial success with personal achievement, adding that having money is a sign of success.
“When you have money, it means you are successful,” she said.
