50 Cent Responds After Being Named in Diddy’s Sex Trafficking Trial
Rapper Curtis Jackson, popularly known as 50 Cent, has reacted to being mentioned during the ongoing sex trafficking and racketeering trial of fellow music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The high-profile case, which has entered its third week in a New York court, has seen a wave of disturbing testimonies and the mention of several well-known celebrities. Among those drawn into the legal proceedings is 50 Cent, a long-time industry rival of Diddy.
Capricorn Clark, a former assistant to Combs, told the court on Tuesday, May 27, that she once overheard the Bad Boy Records founder discussing weapons while speaking about 50 Cent. According to her testimony, Diddy allegedly told a music executive, “I don’t like the back and forth. I like guns,” after referencing the G-Unit rapper.
The testimony has sparked fresh speculation around the decades-old tension between the two hip-hop figures—though Diddy has often downplayed talk of any serious feud.
50 Cent, known for his unfiltered humour, responded to the courtroom claim with a mocking post on Instagram. Sharing his thoughts on the revelation, he wrote:
“Oh my goodness, itty bitty Diddy wants me dead. I have to lay low. I think I’m gonna hide out at the playoff game tonight. LOL.”
The post adds a layer of satire to a case that has otherwise been marked by serious and harrowing allegations. Combs, 55, was arrested earlier this year and faces charges related to sex trafficking, racketeering, and abuse.
Former girlfriend Cassie Ventura previously delivered emotionally charged testimony alleging that she suffered over a decade of physical and psychological abuse at Diddy’s hands. Clark’s testimony, along with others, has painted a deeply troubling picture of life around the music mogul.
While Diddy continues to deny all allegations, the trial remains one of the most closely watched legal sagas in recent entertainment history.
