Frank Edoho Claims Most Women Don’t Prefer “Nice Guys”
Television host and media personality Frank Edoho has sparked discussion online following his recent comments about women’s romantic preferences.
Speaking on a recent episode of The Black Table, a talk show on TVC, Edoho claimed that many women are more attracted to assertive or “bad boy” types than consistently kind men.
Referencing an article he came across online, Edoho said he was surprised by how many women confessed to finding traditionally toxic traits appealing. “One woman said she liked it when her man says, ‘I don’t want to repeat myself again.’ She said it turns her on,” he recounted.
According to Edoho, several other responses in the piece suggested that displays of dominance or control were considered attractive by some women. “There are some strange things going on in the minds of these women that you’re trying to be nice to,” he said. “I’m not saying all women are like that, but the majority don’t like nice guys. They prefer bad guys who are nice to them sometimes.”
The statement has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some agreeing with his view and others pushing back against the generalization.
