Ginger, FCMB SheVentures Launch “Built To Last” Programme For Women Beauty Entrepreneurs

Ginger has partnered with FCMB SheVentures to introduce Built to Last, a year-long programme designed to support women-led beauty businesses across Nigeria.

The initiative aims to equip entrepreneurs in the beauty and personal care sector with the tools needed to scale operations, formalise their businesses, and access funding opportunities. Organisers say the programme will focus on practical training, financial literacy, and improved access to digital tools.

Through the collaboration, participants will benefit from Ginger’s ecosystem, which connects beauty entrepreneurs to suppliers and provides services such as financing, logistics, and inventory management. The programme also seeks to bridge long-standing gaps in access to structured support and capital within the industry.

Founder and CEO of Ginger, Ejiro Enaohwo, said the partnership is aimed at building systems that recognise and support the scalability of women-led beauty businesses.

SheVentures representatives highlighted the broader goal of driving inclusive economic growth by empowering female entrepreneurs with funding, mentorship, and capacity-building opportunities.

The organisers noted that while women play a central role in Africa’s beauty industry, many still face challenges accessing training, networks, and financing. The Built to Last programme is positioned as a step toward addressing those gaps.

Applications for the programme are currently open to beauty entrepreneurs across Nigeria, including salon owners, retailers, aestheticians, and early-stage founders. Selected participants will receive hands-on support and guidance to prepare their businesses for long-term growth and investment readiness.

Applications are expected to close on May 10, 2026.
