Headies Awards 2025 Postponed
The Headies Awards organizers have announced a new date for the 17th edition of the prestigious music awards, originally scheduled for April 5, 2025. The event has now been postponed to April 27, 2025, citing unforeseen circumstances.
In an official statement shared on social media, the organizers expressed regret over the rescheduling, acknowledging the inconvenience it may cause for attendees who had already made arrangements.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to announce that the 17th Headies has been rescheduled from April 5th to Sunday, April 27th, 2025,” the statement read. “We understand that many of you may have already made arrangements for the original date, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please know that our commitment to delivering an exceptional experience at The Headies remains unwavering. The Headies, which celebrates outstanding achievements in Nigerian and African music, recently unveiled its nominee list for the 2025 edition. However, it remains uncertain if the postponement will affect any other aspects of the awards ceremony.
