Popular Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, has shared a personal revelation about growing up in wealth without initially realizing the extent of her privilege.
As the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, DJ Cuppy admitted that she never had to worry about financial struggles, but it wasn’t until later in life that she truly understood how fortunate she was.
Taking to her X handle, she wrote, “Growing up, I didn’t fully realise just how privileged I was. I never had to worry about anything. Thank God I see it now. What felt normal to me is something someone else is praying for. Gratitude changes everything.”
