I Still Get Royalties for Davido’s ‘Unavailable’ – Logos Olori [VIDEO]
Nigerian artist Logos Olori has revealed that he continues to receive royalties for his contribution to Davido’s popular track, “Unavailable.” During a recent interview with HipTV, Logos Olori discussed his role in creating the hit song and shed light on his relationship with the Afrobeats superstar.
Logos Olori confirmed that he was the original writer of “Unavailable” but acknowledged that both Davido and fellow artist Peruzzi made adjustments to the song to better reflect their style. “The tweaking was mainly on the verse,” Logos Olori explained. “Peruzzi came in and wrote a vibe for the verse, and Davido wanted to tell his own story, so changes were made, but the core idea of the song remained intact.”
When asked about his earnings from the song, Logos Olori confirmed that he is still receiving royalties from Davido. “Of course, I still get royalties. Everything about Davido is professional,” he said, highlighting the artist’s commitment to ensuring fair compensation for collaborators.
