Jennifer Lopez Unveils ‘Can’t Get Enough x Jiggy Woogie’ Remix, Infusing Reggae Twist into Redman’s Classic Hit

Pop sensation Jennifer Lopez set social media abuzz on Saturday night as she teased fans with a sneak peek of an alternative version of her upcoming single. The Grammy-winning artist showcased her dance prowess alongside choreographer Enola Bedard in a lively Instagram post, participating in the viral “Jiggy Woogie” dance challenge.

In the video, Lopez and Bedard grooved to the infectious beats of Dancehall artists BabyLawd and DLegend’s hit “Jiggy Woogie,” incorporating their own spin on the popular dance craze. What caught the attention of fans was the unexpected twist, as the track seamlessly transitioned into a preview of JLo’s upcoming single, “Can’t Get Enough.”

The remix cleverly samples Redman’s 1998 hit “Da Goodness” and features interpolations from Sean Paul’s 2003 track, “I’m Still In Love With You.” Lopez shared in her caption that the mashup is the official “Can’t Get Enough x Jiggy Woogie” remix, encouraging fans to pre-save the original version set for release on January 10, 2024.

This musical venture is part of Lopez’s broader creative endeavours, as she recently teased a 30-second snippet of “Can’t Get Enough” on November 26. The song’s Sean Paul sample pays homage to Alton Ellis’ 1960s classic, “I’m Still In Love With You Girl.”

In anticipation of her upcoming album, “This Is Me…Now,” scheduled for release on February 16, Lopez has been actively engaging with fans on social media. However, a humorous incident on December 6 revealed that even a seasoned artist like J.Lo can face challenges, as she struggled to guide fans on the intricacies of pre-saving a song on Spotify.

In a comical Instagram reel, Lopez humorously narrated the evolution of music distribution, highlighting the transition from vinyl and CD to the digital age of streaming platforms. The video showcased her initial struggle to pre-save her own record, admitting, “I gotta learn how to pre-save my own record. I don’t know how to pre-save my own records.” Ultimately, with assistance from someone off-camera, the singer successfully navigated the process, adding a touch of relatability to her larger-than-life persona.
