Jonathan Majors Faces Further Abuse Allegations from Two Additional Women

Actor Jonathan Majors finds himself entangled in fresh allegations of physical and emotional abuse, as two more women come forward with damning testimonies against him.

In a recent report by The New York Times, ex-girlfriends of the “Creed III” and Marvel actor have recounted disturbing accounts of their experiences with Majors. Emma Duncan, who was engaged to Majors from 2015 to 2019, alleges instances of physical violence, including choking and throwing her across the room, accompanied by threatening statements.

Similarly, Maura Hooper, another former partner of Majors, describes a pattern of emotional abuse, detailing instances of controlling behaviour and manipulation, including threats of self-harm and verbal abuse.

While Majors’ lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, denies the allegations of physical abuse, she acknowledges the toxic nature of the relationships and states that Majors takes responsibility for his role in them, expressing regret for hurtful words spoken.

This isn’t the first time Majors has faced controversy regarding his behaviour. Accusations of improper conduct on the set of the HBO drama “Lovecraft Country” have surfaced, with colleagues alleging threatening behaviour and derogatory remarks, leading to a formal complaint to HBO.

In December 2023, Majors was found guilty of assault and harassment charges against a former girlfriend, resulting in his departure from Marvel projects. Despite his denial of physical violence in a televised interview and plans for appeal, his sentencing, initially scheduled for this week, has been postponed to April following a motion filed by his lawyer.

As the allegations against Majors continue to mount, the actor’s reputation hangs in the balance, with the legal proceedings casting a shadow over his career and public image.
