Jordan Trunner O/S Arrives in Clean ‘Midnight Blue’ Colourway
Jordan Brand has continued to expand its presence beyond basketball with the release of the Jordan Trunner O/S in a new “Midnight Blue” colourway, reinforcing its push into the retro-inspired running category.
The Trunner O/S draws inspiration from the original Jordan Trunner LX and has returned to shelves alongside newer interpretations of the line. While the idea of a running shoe from Jordan Brand may still surprise some fans, the silhouette reflects the label’s effort to revisit early-2000s design language while broadening its footwear portfolio.
Following its initial debut at a New York City showcase, the Trunner O/S is now settling into Jordan Brand’s main lineup with more understated colour options. The “Midnight Blue” edition features a predominantly navy upper paired with off-white soles, offering a restrained look that replaces bold colour-blocking with subtle silver accents that nod to Y2K aesthetics.
Although questions remain about whether the model can fully establish itself in the running-inspired segment, the latest release shows the Trunner O/S aligning closely with its retro ambitions in both style and presentation.
The Jordan Trunner O/S “Midnight Blue” has already launched in select international markets, suggesting a wider rollout is imminent. The shoe is expected to retail for $115 when it becomes available more broadly.
