Justin Bieber Opens Up About Struggles with Mental Health: “I’m Exhausted”

Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has taken to social media to candidly share his ongoing battle with mental health, expressing deep emotional fatigue and frustration over the pressure to constantly “heal.”

In a heartfelt Instagram post on Monday, the 30-year-old singer spoke about feeling broken and weary from trying to meet expectations – both internal and external. He admitted that the more he tries to grow, the more inwardly focused he becomes, which has left him emotionally drained.

“I’m tired of thinking about myself,” Bieber wrote. “The more I try to grow, the more self-focused I become, and it’s exhausting.”

The Grammy-winning artist, who has been open about his mental health journey in the past, shared how repeated calls from others to “heal” have only intensified his struggles. “People keep telling me to heal – don’t you think if I could have fixed myself, I would have already?” he questioned.

Bieber also acknowledged unresolved anger and a long-standing desire to live up to other people’s expectations. “I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them,” he said. “It just keeps making me more tired and more angry.”

Despite his struggles, Bieber pointed to his Christian faith as a source of grounding. “Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others,” he added. “Because honestly, I’m exhausted with thinking about myself lately. Aren’t you?”

The post struck a chord with fans, many of whom praised his honesty and vulnerability. Bieber has previously spoken out about the pressures of fame, the impact of early stardom on his mental health, and his ongoing efforts to find peace and purpose.

His message adds to the growing chorus of celebrities shedding light on mental health challenges and encouraging more open conversations around emotional well-being.
