Kaffy Shows Support to Lola Mewu’s Record-Breaking Painting Marathon
Professional dancer and world record holder Kaffy has extended her support to Lola Mewu, who is currently engaged in an attempt to set a new world record for the longest painting marathon. The current record stands at 60 hours, and Lola has already surpassed this by reaching the remarkable milestone of 70 hours.
In a video shared on the artist’s social media, Kaffy joined Lola via a video call, offering words of encouragement and support for her incredible feat. Kaffy not only cheered her on but also provided valuable advice to ensure the success of Lola’s ambitious endeavour.
“I’m here with you in the spirit, and I can’t wait for you to be a fellow world Guinness record holder. Just keep pushing it. What’s the current record?” Kaffy inquired. Lola and her team responded that the existing record stands at 60 hours. “You’ve surpassed it already, just keep surpassing it because they are going to do deductions after their own check. Just keep pushing,” Kaffy advised. Additionally, the dancer openly showed her support for Lola in the comments section of Lola’s social media posts, clearly demonstrating her encouragement.
Lola Mewu, also known as Oyinola, began her attempt to break the current world record on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Despite already surpassing the current record of 60 hours, she continues to persist in her effort.
Initially scheduled to conclude on October 30 following approval from the governing body, Lola’s painting marathon has extended past the planned duration. Having completed over 20 paintings, Lola’s team has initiated the sale of her artworks in an online auction, complying with the guidelines set by the Guinness World Book of Records.
