Kanye West Alleges Playboi Carti Confronted Him with a Gun at Los Angeles Hotel
Rapper and fashion mogul Kanye West has made startling claims about fellow artist Playboi Carti, alleging that the “Magnolia” hitmaker once showed up with a firearm at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
West made the accusation during his controversial debut Twitch livestream, where he addressed a range of topics, including his strained relationship with Carti. Without offering concrete evidence, West recounted the alleged incident, stating: “This [man] told me he was at the Chateau with a gun… And the [man] say he don’t be on the internet. If you don’t be on the internet, what are we talking about, then?”
The claim marks the latest escalation in a simmering feud between the two artists, who previously collaborated on several tracks. Tensions have reportedly intensified following the release of Carti’s third studio album MUSIC, which garnered widespread acclaim.
Last month, West also lashed out at Carti on social media, accusing him of crossing boundaries involving West’s daughter, North, whom Carti allegedly tried to involve in a musical collaboration. In a heated post, West warned: “Don’t play with me… I put you on.”
As of now, Playboi Carti has not responded publicly to West’s latest allegations. The feud continues to draw attention, raising concerns among fans about the increasingly personal and volatile nature of their dispute.
