Kanye West Announces Retirement from Music
In a surprising revelation, American rapper Kanye West has announced his decision to retire from professional music.
West shared his thoughts in a recent conversation with fellow rapper Rich The Kid. The exchange, which Rich The Kid posted on his Instagram story on Tuesday, showed Kanye expressing his uncertainty about his future endeavours.
In the screenshot, Kanye, also known as YE, wrote, “I am retiring from professional music. Not sure what else to do.”
Rich The Kid responded with a plea for West to reconsider, stating, “Retire? Why? How? The people need you. The music you, TY [Dollar $ign], and we have made was the biggest stamp in culture to this date in 2024. Drop Ye about mine & V2 and we do it all over again. The kids need you, big bro. Fashion maybe some time to chill but retiring ain’t it.” [Sic]
There has been no word on whether Kanye will take this advice to heart and continue his musical career.
