The replica, a “900 sq. ft modular house,” was prominently displayed during a listening party for his unreleased ‘Donda 2’ album in Miami, Florida, back in February 2022. Now, the replica house will be part of The Levy Recovery Group auction starting on October 2nd, allowing bidders to take home this unique piece of memorabilia.

The exact origins of the replica house remain a bit of a mystery, as it was also featured in three other listening parties held by Kanye in Chicago and Atlanta in 2021 for his first ‘Donda’ record. Levy President Jason Levy revealed that a production company hired them to sell the house, which is currently disassembled and stored in a Chicago warehouse. However, the winning bidder will have the option to have it reassembled for an additional fee.

The listing for the sale highlights the house’s significance, stating it’s the replica of Kanye West’s childhood home showcased during his 2022 ‘Donda 2’ listening parties. Measuring 900 sq. ft, the modular house also includes both crosses from the tour, adding to its allure.

During the ‘Donda 2’ listening party, fans were immersed in a pitch-black stadium, with the only source of light being the replica of Kanye’s childhood Chicago home, surrounded by water and set ablaze, creating a powerful visual spectacle.

Notably, controversy arose during the event when Kanye invited controversial figures like rocker Marilyn Manson and rapper DaBaby, who have faced serious allegations and criticisms. Despite the event’s success and anticipation for the ‘Donda 2’ album, it was never officially released.

Kanye West’s ‘Donda’ album, released in August 2021, achieved remarkable success, breaking records on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. However, Kanye accused his record label of releasing the album without his approval and blocking the inclusion of ‘Jail, Pt. 2’, a track featuring DaBaby and Marilyn Manson.
