Kanye West’s Former Staffer Shares Alleged Evidence of Nitrous Oxide Abuse Amid Dentist’s Denial
Kanye West’s former chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, has escalated his claims that the rapper is struggling with a dangerous nitrous oxide addiction, implicating West’s dentist, Dr. Thomas Connelly, in the controversy.
Yiannopoulos, who worked for Kanye from 2022 to 2024, recently posted what he claims are text messages between West and Connelly, in which the celebrity dentist allegedly agrees to provide the rapper with nitrous oxide upon request. The texts purportedly show Connelly discussing plans to legalize the gas for recreational use and develop a delivery system for it.
“PROOF: Thomas Connelly agrees to deliver recreational nitrous oxide to his heavily addicted patient Ye at the latter’s then-residence, Chateau Marmont—the site of dozens of celebrity overdoses and suicides,” Yiannopoulos wrote on X (formerly Twitter), along with screenshots of the alleged conversation.
This follows a statement from Connelly’s spokesperson, who strongly denied Yiannopoulos’ earlier accusations, labeling them as false and motivated by personal grievances. “Dr. Thomas P. Connelly categorically denies all the false allegations made by Milo Yiannopoulos,” the statement reads, adding that Connelly has never engaged in reckless, unethical, or illegal conduct.
Yiannopoulos’ allegations are part of a sworn affidavit he filed with the California Dental Board, accusing Connelly of charging West over $50,000 per month for a large, illegal supply of nitrous oxide—a substance typically used in dental procedures to alleviate pain and anxiety. The affidavit further claims that Connelly proposed himself as a leader of Kanye’s Yeezy brand, with a salary of $2.4 million annually, and had even moved into the same apartment building as West, allegedly bringing large tanks of nitrous oxide into the apartment of West’s wife, Bianca Censori.
According to Yiannopoulos, the excessive use of nitrous oxide has led to concerning behavioral changes in West, including symptoms of brain damage. The affidavit also references a video where West is seen seemingly inhaling the gas, which he reportedly sent to boxer Ryan Garcia.
Despite these serious allegations, Dr. Connelly has denied all wrongdoing, and Kanye West has yet to address the situation publicly. Meanwhile, the California Dental Board is reportedly investigating the claims against Connelly.
