P-Square Brothers Reportedly Clash Again Amid New Controversy
Renowned Nigerian music duo P-Square, comprising twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, alongside their elder brother Jude Okoye, are reportedly entangled in a fresh dispute.
According to online reports, a recent business proposal has ignited the latest conflict, potentially jeopardizing their longstanding musical partnership. The controversy began when a company expressed interest in acquiring P-Square’s music catalogue, with a condition to access their royalties dating back to 2007.
Tensions escalated upon the discovery of an alleged shell company purportedly used by Jude Okoye to siphon funds from the group’s joint-owned firm. In response, Peter Okoye reportedly involved the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), resulting in Jude Okoye’s arrest.
This development has been further complicated by the noticeable absence of both Jude and Peter Okoye from Paul Okoye’s recent wedding in Abia state.
The latest fallout poses a significant threat to the brothers’ musical collaboration, which has been a cornerstone of modern Afrobeat in Nigeria. Fans are anxiously monitoring the situation, hoping for a resolution that will preserve the iconic P-Square legacy.
