Kendrick Lamar to Headline Australia’s Spilt Milk Festival in December

Multiple Grammy-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar is set to headline Australia’s Spilt Milk Festival, marking a major return for the event after a one-year hiatus.

The popular touring festival, known for its vibrant summer lineups, will take place across four Australian cities: Ballarat (Wadawurrung Country), Perth (Whadjuk Country), Canberra (Ngunnawal Country), and the Gold Coast (Kombumerri Country), kicking off on December 6 and concluding on December 14.

Joining Lamar on the lineup are fellow Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) artists Doechii and ScHoolboy Q, alongside performances from “Euphoria” star Dominic Fike, viral sensation Nessa Barrett, and rising singer d4vd.

Lamar’s Spilt Milk appearance comes as he continues to smash records on his Grand National tour in the United States, co-headlined with SZA. The tour’s opening night in Minneapolis recently set a new milestone as the highest-grossing hip-hop concert of all time, generating over $9.1 million in revenue from more than 47,000 attendees – surpassing Eminem’s previous record set in Melbourne in 2019.

The historic show also marked the first time a rap concert crossed the $9 million threshold and became the largest non-festival audience for both Kendrick Lamar and SZA.

Fans in Australia can now look forward to seeing one of the world’s most influential hip-hop artists live, as Kendrick Lamar brings his dynamic performance to the Spilt Milk stage this December.
