Lady Gaga Reveals Her Mum Introduced Her to Fiancé Michael Polansky
Pop icon Lady Gaga has opened up about how her mother played a pivotal role in her love life by introducing her to her fiancé, Michael Polansky. The 38-year-old singer shared in a recent interview with Vogue that her mom first met Polansky, a 46-year-old tech entrepreneur, and confidently told her she had found her future husband.
Recalling the moment, Gaga said, “My mom met him and said, ‘I think I just met your husband,’ to which I replied, ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband!’ I could never have imagined my mom would find the most perfect person for me.”
Lady Gaga publicly confirmed her engagement to Polansky in July during a conversation with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the Paris Olympics. The couple first sparked romance rumours after being spotted together at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas in 2019, and later confirmed their relationship on Instagram.
Though the pair reportedly separated briefly in early 2023, they reunited and celebrated Gaga’s 38th birthday in March with friends in California, signalling the strength of their bond.
