Ayra Starr Demands Justice for Murdered FUNAAB Student, Calls for End to Violence Against Women

Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has expressed outrage over the tragic murder of Idowu Christianah, a 300-level student at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), allegedly killed by her friend, Ayomide Adeleye, a suspected serial killer.

Taking to her official X (formerly Twitter) account, Ayra Starr condemned the brutal act, demanding justice for the victim and highlighting the ongoing violence against women. The singer urged for an end to these atrocities, writing, “Stop killing us! Stop raping us! Women deserve better #JusticeForChristianah.”

Christianah’s murder has sparked national outrage, especially after investigations revealed Adeleye had not only killed his close friend but was also previously linked to the deaths of his ex-girlfriend and his sister in separate incidents in 2018 and 2020. As the case unfolds, the call for swift justice intensifies, with Ayra Starr among the voices demanding action to protect women from such heinous crimes.
