Speculation Arises About Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma’s Supposed Truce

Fans of Nicki Minaj were abuzz with speculation that her longtime feud with fellow rapper Remy Ma might be coming to an end following a cryptic Instagram Story.

Minaj took to her social media on Tuesday (November 7) to promote her upcoming album “Pink Friday 2” by quoting lyrics from Remy Ma’s past work.

“Look over your shoulder, I’m in da Rover, it’s OVER b!ch,” she wrote, referencing a line from Remy Ma’s verse on Big Pun’s 2000 track “Ms. Martin.”

Additionally, Minaj posted “12.08.23,” hinting at the release date of her forthcoming LP.

This move sparked conversations among fans on X (previously Twitter), who expressed surprise and excitement at the potential reunion between Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma.

“WAIT NICKI WAS QUOTING REMY? THEY SQUASHED THEIR BEEF???” one fan exclaimed, while another wrote: “So Nicki and Remy back cool. Aww shit lol.”

Some fans speculated that the gesture might indicate a collaboration between Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma on “Pink Friday 2.”

Nicki and Remy have had a long-standing public feud, notably escalating in 2017 with diss tracks from both sides. Remy’s track “ShETHER” directly responded to Nicki’s verse on Gucci Mane’s “Make Love.”

By November of that year, Remy Ma mentioned that she had moved past the beef, and clarified that her song “Wake Me Up” with Lil Kim wasn’t aimed at Nicki.

“I’m like in a good space, like I feel like everything that happened, everything happens for a reason,” she said.

However, Minaj’s recent Instagram post has raised hopes among fans that the artists might have buried the hatchet, possibly hinting at a new direction in their relationship.
